In this dynamic role, you will have shared ownership of Accounts Payable, assist with month end close, conduct research and analysis, and identify and execute necessary process improvements. Other duties may be assigned. This is a dynamic position in a dynamic company which calls for high intelligence, professional curiosity, and the desire for professional growth.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will:

• Review vendor invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to posting and payment
• Process 3-way P.O. matching invoices where applicable
• Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
• Prepare and process weekly Payment Run
• Audit and process monthly credit card statements
• 1099 maintenance
• Respond to all vendor inquiries, as well as those of internal business partners
• Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
• Assist in month end closing
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Work on special projects as assigned
• Seek and propose opportunities to streamline existing Accounts Payable procedures

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Customer service experience with technical communication proficiencies
• Proactive, articulate, with high attention to detail and organization
• Able to prioritize, and constantly seek opportunities for streamlining or process improvement
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate Excel skills
• ERP system experience
• 1 years' experience in A/P with complex cash apps, preferably in the beverage or other consumer packaged goods industry
• Associate Degree in Accounting or related Business field, Bachelor's Degree preferred
