Shipping and Receiving

Monday-Friday, OT as needed.

7am-3 : 30pm or 8am-5pm

• Schedule and organize outbound shipments of glass products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Collaborate with carriers, freight companies, and logistics partners to optimize transportation and minimize costs.
• Prepare shipping documents, labels, and invoices for outbound shipments.
• Receive incoming shipments of raw materials and supplies.
• Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of received items against purchase orders and shipping documents.
• Record and report any discrepancies or damages promptly.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in periodic physical inventory audits.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate reorder activities to avoid stockouts.
• Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent breakage or damage during transit.
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address packaging concerns.
• Document all shipping and receiving activities accurately in the company's tracking system.
• Generate reports on shipping and receiving metrics for management review.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, including hazardous materials handling, customs requirements, and transportation laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to the construction field.
