Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Safety Valve Technician to join our team. The Safety Valve Technician will be responsible for maintaining, detecting, and repairing various types of valves used in industrial settings. Servicing of Pressure Relief Valves (PRVs), Control Valves, Line Valves, Instrumentation, Pumps, Blowers, Mechanical Seals, and Fluid Sealing applications.

Duties: ·

• Operate equipment – overhead hoists, sandblaster, parts washer, propylene torch, etc.
• Disassemble valve without damaging parts per the manufacturer's Installation & Operation Manual
• Document and enter job data into ValvKeep database and document photos
• Coordinate with office personnel on repair requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Maintain equipment in area, as required
• Cleaning, blasting, and painting valve components
• Return Valves/Parts to Proper Bins, Boxes, etc.
• Assemble, calibrate, tag and certify valve per manufacturer's repair manuals
• May be required to help in field assignments
• May be required to climb and work at various elevations depending on job scope
• Operate motor vehicle, as required
• Attend job and safety training, as necessary or required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. (Desired a technical or trade school degree.)
• The right candidate will have the ability to learn our trade and has experience working with hand and power tools.

Must be able to travel and have a clean driving record in accordance with Pioneer driving guidelines

Capable of holding forklift operation certificate

• Must be able to lift max of 50 lbs
