This role offers a 12 month ongoing contract with likely extensions, providing you with the opportunity to lead impactful infrastructure projects.
Join our team as a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing a variety of exciting IT projects, focusing on infrastructure-related initiatives such as Data Center Moves (DC Moves), Hardware Refresh initiatives, and New Site Build-Outs.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage infrastructure-related projects, including new site buildouts and projects associated with mergers & acquisitions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Lead Cloud-Driven Innovation and Transformation initiatives, leveraging your expertise in infrastructure and cloud technologies.
Collaborate closely with diverse teams to define project goals, scope, and deliverables, optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
Craft and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, providing continuity by building out project templates for new sites opening and sites being acquired.
Proactively identify and address project risks and challenges, maintaining smooth project execution.
Cultivate a collaborative and results-oriented project management culture, fostering teamwork and accountability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a proven track record in infrastructure-related projects.
Strong proficiency in infrastructure and cloud technologies.
Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, with most infrastructure projects aligning with Waterfall methodology.
Bonus points for holding a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration.
