NESCO Resource is Hiring a Financial Software Developer Near Cleveland, OH

Position Overview:

The .Net Developer role focuses on analyzing, designing, and developing processes within corporate performance management (CPM) systems, offering strategic solutions to achieve organizational goals.

Salary: $110,000-$129,000
Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days remote
Location: Cleveland, OH (Relocation packages offered)

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

  • Evaluate logical views, data hierarchies, and reporting structures.
  • Provide alternatives and recommendations aligned with best practices and application functionality.
  • Collaborate on code reviews and occasionally conduct code reviews for others.
  • Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical resources for object development and testing.
  • Support business processes, applying application knowledge to problem-solving.
  • Assist in financial consolidations, annual budget, and forecast processes.

Acquisition & Deployment:

  • Utilize ERP or CPM application knowledge to enhance finance application deployment, security, and integration.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain process flows.

Operational Management:

  • Design and develop OneStream and reporting solutions within CPM/EPM domain.
  • Propose finance solutions and advocate for process improvements.
  • Lead/participate in user sessions for requirements and testing.
  • Independently resolve user issues and provide assistance.
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts.
  • Maintain system documentation.
  • Manage requests and issues within existing systems.
  • Generate business reports for management and clients.
  • Assist in requirement gathering and documentation creation.

Incidental Functions:

  • Contribute to projects enhancing work efficiency.
  • Represent the team in management meetings.
  • Provide training and documentation for supported applications.
  • Participate in hiring activities as required.

Qualifications:

Formal Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • 5 years of IT experience.
  • 3 years of Finance Software Applications development experience.
  • Proficiency in VB or C# .NET.
  • Familiarity with financial processes and functions preferred.
  • Expertise in Cloud Enterprise applications, ERP, and CPM applications like OneStream beneficial.
  • Experience in designing and delivering finance solutions.
  • Ability to build and maintain automation.
  • Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
