The .Net Developer is responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing processes within corporate performance management (CPM) systems. The Dot Net Developer must understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. The incumbent also interprets and transforms information based on business requirements and provides the data for delivery. This role involves conducting detailed research of products and assisting with application development.
Essential Functions
Strategy & Planning
• Evaluate logical views, data hierarchies, and reporting structures.
• Provides alternatives and recommendations based on best practices and application functionality.
• Gain necessary input/approval of requirements and design, participate in code reviews and perform code reviews for others occasionally.
• Understand the business processes, and how the application supports the business processes, and apply this knowledge to best solve problems.
• Develop functional specifications and works with technical resources to complete object development and testing.
• Assist the business with financial consolidations, annual budget and forecast processes.
Acquisition & Deployment
• Employ knowledge of the ERP or CPM applications to facilitate better deployment of finance application, security and other integration tools.
• Develop, implement, and maintain process flows.
Operational Management
• Design and develop OneStream and reporting solutions within CPM/EPM domain.
• Develop finance solutions and suggest process improvements.
• Participate/Lead user sessions for requirements and testing.
• Assist users with problems and resolves issues independently.
• Create test plans, test cases, test scripts, and performs functional testing.
• Create and maintain system documentation.
• Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues.
• Provide business reports to management and clients.
• Assist in requirement gathering and creating system and user documentation.
Incidental Functions
• Assist with projects as may be required to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the work.
• Attend management meetings on behalf of the team.
• Provide training and documentation for supported applications.
• Participate in hiring activities as needed.
Formal Education & Certification
• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study (e.g., Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience
• 5 years of IT experience.
• 3 years of Finance Software Applications development experience (On-prem or in the Cloud).
• Experience with VB or C# .NET is required.
• Good financial process and functional knowledge preferred.
• Expertise with Cloud Enterprise applications, ERP and CPM applications like OneStream is a plus.
• Experience as a technical resource designing and delivering finance solutions.
• Skilled in building and maintaining automation.
• Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
• Provide alternatives based on best practices and application functionality.

• Sit for extended periods; walk and stand occasionally.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, and mouse, and to handle other computer components constantly.
• Lift and transport moderately heavy objects, such as computers, devices, and peripherals occasionally.
• Work environment involves everyday risk or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meetings, and training rooms, i.e., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations.
• Work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
• Up to 25% travel as required (domestic and international)
• Work outside the standard office 7.5-hour workday may be required.
