Nenni and Associates is Hiring an Electrical Designer Near Columbia, SC

Overview:Our client is well established consulting engineering firm that is a national pioneer in the development of net zero energy buildings. They are currently seeking an Electrical Designer to join their growing team within the South Carolina market! 
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design the electrical systems, lighting and lighting controls, emergency power, UPS, and renewable energy systems
  • Complete lighting calculations, design lighting fixtures, and proposals
  • Attend meetings with owners, clients, or architects as needed
  • Review contractor submittals (shop drawings, etc.) to determine conformance with contract documents
  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks
  • Research and analyze customer design proposals specification, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications
  • Identify and resolve issues/conflicts as they arise
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
  • 3 years of experience in consulting engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
  • Experience in MEP Design
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • AutoCAD and REVIT software experience
