We are looking for a qualified concrete laborers to help form and pour foundations, poured or ICF walls and flatwork. Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products. A mason is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of cementitious materials. Working with some supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting high quality buildings and products.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
• Take measurements and calculate the size of material needed
• Form and pour cementitious materials according to measurements
• Help form and pour foundations, poured or ICF walls and flatwork for new custom homes, additions, decks, patios and driveways by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Help conduct repairs or maintenance
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures

Skills

• Proven experience as cement / masonry laborer
• Hands-on experience in working with cementitious materials
• Basic understanding of masonry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using power, electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools 
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings is preferred
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
• Good knowledge of English
• Good understanding of basic math
• Good physical condition and endurance
• High school diploma or GED

Schedule

• we work at least 8 hour days
• OT is available and often required but 10 to 12 hour days with Fridays and Saturdays off is an option
