Safety | Quality Assurance

Terrific opportunity to put your safety expertise to work and play a key role in helping to keep our people and our product safe. You will work to support the safety of our entire team, conducting regular training, safety onboarding, and leading improvements. You will also help support the exceptional quality of our products working with the rest of our Quality, Safety & Environment team.

Compensation: $28-$38 per hour DOE

Location: Petaluma, CA

Company-sponsored health, dental, vision, and Life/AD&D insurance, 401K, paid vacation and sick days, and an employee discount.

Hours: 7-3:30

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the People Safety activities, including preparing and leading training, performing monthly internal inspections & corrective action, preparing risk assessments of new equipment, managing corrective actions, and onboarding new employees.
  • Support Managers & Supervisors with any injury or near miss reporting according to the company’s safety program.
  • Support Food Safety & QA activities such as regular data collection from production areas and updating SOPs & SSOPs.
  • Oversee Chemical Management Program including maintaining pertinent safety equipment, SDS, and managing chemical inventory.
  • Helping to support overall operational efficiency via implementation and training, creating & updating SOPs.
  • Completing all required documentation following IIPP, Food Safety, and HACCP plans and state law.

What You Bring:

  • 2 years’ experience in Cal-OSHA and relevant safety programs within any manufacturing industry.
  • HACCP certification preferred but not required.
  • Solid computer proficiency including Microsoft Office tools, particularly SharePoint file management.
  • Ease and ability to create spreadsheets and perform basic data analysis and.
