Job Description:
A small trust office in Darien, CT, is seeking a full-time Trust Officer to join our team. This person would be responsible for maintaining client relationships through proactive client communication and the coordinated delivery of services to families. This person would also be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal requirements and the settler's intentions. The position also includes communicating with clients, agencies, advisors, and other bank personnel on the laws and options concerning trusts and estate matters. It would also include some client onboarding.
Our office has a friendly work environment where we all work together to provide very personalized and high quality trust services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CFA, CFP) is a plus
- Proven experience in trust management, portfolio management, or related financial services role
- Strong knowledge of cash management, tax implications, and investment strategies
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Sound understanding of financial markets and economic trends
- Ability to work independently with a high level of integrity and professionalism

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
