Nebraskaland Aviation is seeking an individual to assist with our vision, creation, and management of a new alternative application division inside of our company.

Job Title: Alternative Application Division Manager

Job Classification: Full-Time

Job Location: South Central Nebraska

Compensation: Negotiable between parties. Dependent upon previous job experience.

Reports To: Tye Marquardt

Hours: May require long hours seasonally depending on workload.

Nebraskaland Aviation, an ag retail company headquartered in Holdrege, Nebraska is an independently owned ag retail business with six locations serving the central Nebraska and central Kansas areas. We offer wholesale crop protection and fertilizer sales, along with custom aerial and ground applications of crop protection and fertilizer products. We have been proudly serving farmers since 1965. About You

Minimum requirements for this division manager position are as follows:

● At a minimum, FAA private pilot certificate, commercial pilot is preferred.

● Have a basic understanding of FAA Part 107 & Part 137 agricultural operations.

● Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.

● Proven work experience with managing employees and creating an enjoyable work environment.

● Capable of meeting FAA requirements and becoming a licensed drone pilot.

● Pleasant, helpful attitude with customers and coworkers.

● Oversee fleet maintenance and manage compliance with all state and federal rules and regulations related to the application of this equipment.

● Custom application experience is helpful.

Required Skills & Experience

● Candidates must have a high school diploma.

● Candidates must have a FAA private pilot certification.

● Candidates must have a valid U.S. driver's license.

● Candidates must be goal-oriented and operate with a positive attitude at all times.

● Candidates must have great communication skills.

● Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong leadership and effectively work alongside other employees.

Position Overview

Use of this equipment will include imagery services, as well as, but not limited to, herbicide, fungicide, biological, and nutritional product applications to row crops and rangeland. This new division will consist of aerial equipment such as rotary drones that are common today, larger unmanned fixed wing aircraft that are coming to market, and all new technologies that will eventually become available. This division will also include ground applications to be made with UTV and ATV equipment as well as autonomous ground sprayers, and all other new technologies that will be coming to market. Our vision is to create the most technologically advanced and most capable alternate application division in the United States with the purpose of meeting the ever-changing needs of our customers.
