This role offers the opportunity to work on the installation of commercial and residential hardscape projects in the Wappingers Falls, NY area. The position is year-round, with continued work during the winter in snow or holiday lighting/décor. The right individual will find plenty of overtime available during the busy season.
Responsibilities
- Work on the installation of hardscape/construction projects
- Install patios and walkways using concrete, stone, and pavers
- Construct boulder walls and retaining walls, both segmental and natural
- Install plants, drainage systems, and fire pits
- Operate skid steers, excavators, and loaders
- Shoot elevations
- Install pool plumbing and equipment
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience in construction or related field
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as skid steers, excavators, and loaders
- Knowledge of hardscape installation, including patios, walkways, walls, and drainage systems
Compensation
The pay for this position ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, with opportunities for overtime during the busy season.
