GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead efforts as a member of the global Information Technology (IT) team to design, implement, and manage controls to prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of data
• Ensure compliance with Management Information System(s), procedures, and applicable global information protection and privacy regulations
• Participate in and/or lead efforts and decision-making activities related to data protection technologies (i.e., anti-malware/EDR, Cloud Security, DLP, IAM, etc.)
• Maintain existing information security protocols and perform gap analysis to identify areas of need for new processes and technologies
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments on data processing activities and security measures
• Educate teams and co-workers about data security, promote security awareness, and security protocols
• Help to develop and/or maintain business continuity and disaster recovery protocols
• Lead the overall support and responsibilities for the Incident Response program to help provide post-incident analysis

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• 7 or more years of combined IT and information security related experience
• Broad range of exposure to systems and/or data analysis, application development, and systems administration
• More than 5 years’ experience defining, implementing, and maintaining security solutions, infrastructures, and policy framework
• Working knowledge of security issues, risk mitigation techniques, and implications across multiple platforms in a global organization
• Demonstrate functional proficiency level to apply competency in a self-sufficient and effective manner as the SME

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience
• Requires Security Certification(s) (i.e., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC))
