Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide excellent patient care. If you are passionate about dental health and patient well-being, we would love to have you on board.

We prefer applicant with some dental assistant work experience. However, we will provide the necessary training if needed (especially with the dental technology used in our office.)

Responsibilities:

- Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Perform medical imaging as directed by the dentist
- Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Handle administrative tasks using systems like Epic and Dentrix
- Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or relevant certification
- Knowledge of patient assessment and HIPAA regulations
- Familiarity with dental assisting procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using Epic or similar systems for patient records
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
