House Manager - Community Living
NCIA is currently seeking an experienced House Manager to lead staff within our Adult Community Living team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional committed to supporting our mission of providing the most efficient and appropriate support available for our individuals served in a respectful, caring, and therapeutic environment.
Under the general direction of the Community Living Coordinator, the House Manager is responsible for supervision/training of staff, maintenance of documentation, providing direct supports to clients, the overall cleanliness of the households, implementation and documentation of client goals and ensuring that proper medical services are provided.
Essential Duties:
With the client and his/her Manager, assures that the client’s Individual Plan (IP) is developed and implemented with established timeframes, and assures that the IP contains measurable goals and outcomes.
Assures that goals/medical orders/care plans and other services are implemented as required and monitors progress.
Responds to crisis situations as required per their work schedule.
Implements/follows procedures necessary to assure compliance with applicable Code of Maryland Regulations and Agency policies.
Adheres to agency, state and federal policies regarding confidentiality, abuse, neglect and discipline of clients.
Key Requirements:
An Associate of Arts (A.A.) Degree in Human Services, Psychology or a related field and two years of related experience; or,
A minimum of three years’ experience in providing supports to clients with disabilities with two of those years in a supervisory capacity; and
Personal vehicle, verification of current automobile insurance and a valid non-provisional driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
