Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing medical support and care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a private office setting and contribute to the well-being of our patients.
Duties:
- Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, checking out patients, and rooming patients for the doctor
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic intake procedures such as checking weight and blood pressure
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies and info manager when supplies need to be ordered
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Basic life support certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
