We embrace authenticity and inspire people to thrive.

Do you have a passion for data and insights? Do you want to help build products that are data driven? Do you want to help shape the future of streaming in the Digital Entertainment space? Do you want to work in an innovative, agile team backed by a world leading media company?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to be part of our direct-to-consumer’s TVE backend product team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and implementation of data products and analytics solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data initiatives align with business goals and inform how we can deliver significant value to our customers and the business. This role will support NBCUniversal brands such as NBC, Bravo, Oxygen, SYFY, USA, E!, Telemundo, NBC Sports, and NBC Olympics.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for analytics and data enablement.
  • Act as analytics SME on the team, taking a holistic approach to tagging and data requirements, prioritizing data points that will drive the most value and insight while thinking creatively on how to bridge data gaps and derive directional insights
  • Partner closely with Decision Sciences, Data Engineering, Research and other stakeholders on understanding, prioritizing and owning requirements needed to enable data informed decisions
  • Engage and collaborate with data end users across the organization to understand how the data strategy should evolve, apply critical thinking to provide a recommendation of what use cases should be revisited, be universal or unique due to business needs
  • Identify market opportunities and customer needs through research, analysis, and engagement with stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with business objectives
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch, including defining requirements, creating user stories, and prioritizing features
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, client product manager, and data science teams to ensure the successful development and deployment of data implementations
  • Ensure product quality through rigorous testing and validation processes
  • Develop an end-to-end view of data required to enable use cases across customer engagement, journey, advertising, and mobile measurements
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to inform future product enhancements
  • Develop and implement strategies for content discovery, understanding the most effective path to enable data to solve user content discovery needs
  • Utilize machine learning and data analytics to create tailored user experience and improve engagement
  • Partner with strategic organizations such as our streaming services or central data hubs to align on data initiatives and strategic data use cases
  • Identify synergies/efficiencies across the Measurement and Analytics enterprise product teams and leverage a shared approach when applicable and reduce redundancy and duplication of functionality
  • Implement and manage video analytics solutions to gain insights into user behavior and content performance

Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in product management, with a focus on analytics, data products, or related areas
  • Strong understanding of data technologies, analytics tools, personalization techniques, and data governance best practices
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Curious and collaborative mindset, eager to truly understand the why’s and how’s

  • Experience working with Adobe and mParticle tags is a plus
  • Experience with a data visualization tool (Domo, Tableau, Looker)
  • Understanding of product tagging and data governance
  • Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA or Stamford, CT
