Overview:
Naylor Association Solutions is a dynamic, industry-leading organization dedicated to building stronger associations by delivering a combination of member engagement and revenue-generating solutions. Our integrated solutions span all major functional areas, including publishing and communications, trade shows and events, software and web development solutions, e-learning solutions, and association advising services.
This position has overall responsibility for managing the execution of the entire project management process for their portfolio of assigned projects. Primary responsibilities include oversight of the tactical implementation of the project plans including launch, monitoring progress, cross department collaboration, evaluation and reporting on project progression and results, and problem solving when needed to meet key milestones and deliverables. The Project Manager is responsible for managing their assigned sales projects to meet sales, project, and corporate goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversees the entire project management process on assigned projects, with responsibility of meeting or exceeding project revenue and other target goals:
    • Responsible, in conjunction with the Sales Manager, for developing sales strategies and activities to meet and/or exceed assigned sales and other project targets.
    • Implements, evaluates, and measures the sales strategy progress on assigned projects, and recommends adjustments when needed. Provides regular reporting on progress.
    • Monitors project activity,and provides timely and accurate reporting and feedback to Sales Managers and the Director of Partnership Development to review media kits, marketing materials, leads, content, and ensure teams are set up for success.
    • Makes strategic suggestions to enhance products or services, as needed, and to maximize revenue expectations on assigned projects.
    • Works with Project Administrator to ensure sales administrative support tasks for project setup is done in a timely, complete, and accurate manner.
    • Coordinates the sales approval process, which includes reviewing and approving discounts, commission changes, and type of sale changes.

2. Provides support, to the Director of Partnership Development for monitoring performance and progress of the project:

    • Assists the Director of Partnership Development with association updates on sales and project performance.
    • Works with Director of Partnership Development and sales on new opportunities for product growth or current product enhancements.

3. Other Project Management Responsibilities:

    • Ensures business activities are conducted within the Naylor code of conduct and in a professional manner with the highest degree of quality.
    • Promotes teamwork among the various functions of the branch and the company to ensure long-term success of the business.
    • Performs other related duties as needed or assigned.
    • In the event that the Director of Partnership Development is unavailable, the Project Manager will assist with other team related issues.
    • Other duties related to sales or project management, or related to the success of the project or company, may be assigned as needed or required.
Qualifications:
    • A bachelor’s degree in business or related field, preferred.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years managing a cross functional team for a media company, agency, association or in some service related industry with multiple projects and clients.
    • Must have experience working in a sales environment.
    • B2B media experience preferred with strong background in digital/mobile program sales, print and events.
    • Ability to assess and manage multiple employee skill levels.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead team to achieve revenue goals over multiple business lines/projects. Shows significant financial experience including P/L statements and responsibility for annual budgets.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Exemplary time management and interpersonal skills within a fast paced, evolving environment.
    • Must be highly computer proficient with experience in MS Office applications. CRM system experience a plus.
    • Ability to operate with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
    • Travel is required, approximately 10% , will vary depending upon the portfolio.
