Job Summary:
Maintain and ensure effective administration of the LMS including uploading content ensuring accurate audience assignments documenting processes and policies developing reports and queries for a variety of internal and external constituents testing and troubleshooting administrative and user technical issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform aspects of LMS administration, which may include:

  • Identify resources, publish/archive classes, programs, curricula, add/delete resources, etc.
  • Upload, publish, and test e-Learning modules to ensure proper functionality.
  • Build training plans and push assignments and test criteria before release to ensure accurate audience assignment.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and resolve user issues through troubleshooting problems via phone, email and other communication tools.
  • Escalate technical issues as needed from identification through resolution to appropriate internal and external business partners.
  • Assist in developing and documenting processes or policies as needed to establish consistent use of the system including email templates, reports, dashboards, and rule-based workflows.
  • Maintain the integrity of associate training records.
  • Understand and articulate system requirements and constraints.
  • Recommend and support improvement solutions relative to the needs of the LMS and its business impact
  • Support system settings to capture survey metrics for online and classroom training courses in order to measure training effectiveness.
  • May assist the facilitation of virtual and/ or classroom training and other corporate learning responsibilities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

A total of 4 years of experience, consisting of the following:

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Three years of responsible experience in non-routine work which enabled the applicant to gain experience in performing the tasks necessary for supporting the Learning and Organization Development function through HR and/or learning systems and project work. Communicates effectively with others, both orally and in writing. Experience interfacing with subject matter experts (SME)

OR

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: 1 year of related academic study above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months of experience, up to a maximum of a 4 year bachelors degree in Management, Human Resources, Education, IO Psychology, Communication, or other fields related to the position for 3 years of general experience.

AND

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year of progressively responsible experience analyzing data, managing short-term projects, writing system test scripts, presenting training to an audience, or supporting HR systems such as an LMS, HRIS, or talent management system.
