Naval Air Systems Command is Hiring an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) Near Patuxent River, MD

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the STRL Mission Support direct hire authority. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Qualifications:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DS-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Ensuring effective and efficient maintenance and operations workflow and practices to help improve availability and performance of systems and dependent environments,2) Monitoring all systems/networks and assists to resolve complex issues in system/network software and hardware;3) Researching and making recommendations in all areas of Information Technology acquisition investments;4) Working with Systems/Network Administrators to maintain and support the networks, storage devices, physical and virtual environment; and 5) Utilizing VMWare software for a variety of virtualization tasks and responsibilities for an organization.
