Naval Air Systems Command is Hiring an Aircraft worker Near Marine, NC

Position Description

You will serve as an AIRCRAFT WORKER in the MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND OVERHAUL (MRO) of FLTREADCEN EAST. This is a a RE-ADVERSITEMENT of Announcement Number : ST-11888282-23-EAS.

Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to the announcement.

  • You will disassemble aircraft or major components for over haul or modify.
  • You will determine required repairs.
  • You will visually check removed parts and report unusual wear, damage, dirt or poorly adjusted parts and accessories.
  • You will correct problems.
  • You will research / look up replacement parts in applicant technical instructions, (manuals, publications, local engineering instructions, temporary engineering instructions, etc).
  • You will perform complex tasks, installs, adjusts, aligns, troubleshoots and performs final functional and operational tests on a variety of major aircraft systems.
