Nautilus Biotechnology is Hiring an IT Helpdesk Administrator Near San Carlos, CA

Nautilus Biotechnology is looking to hire its first IT Helpdesk Administrator to tackle the frontline support function at our growing company. As we grow in employees and locations, we’re ready to hire someone to take point of our Helpdesk. This will be a highly visible position and you will have a lot of influence in how we manage our operations, making improvements to processes, workflows, and documentation. We support all aspects of the business as a small team, so there will be plenty of chances to learn new things and participate in other IT areas as you grow.

This position is located at our San Carlos, CA office.

Responsibilities

  • Support company employee’s technology needs and troubleshoot computer issues. Employees located in San Carlos, CA, Seattle, WA, and remote.
  • Manage Helpdesk ticket queue resolving issues and escalating to team mates as needed
  • Document process and procedures, self-help guides, and company communications
  • Support audio/video conferencing equipment and manage technology for meetings as needed
  • Inventory management & equipment ordering for all locations
  • Perform laptop setup procedures and onboarding processes with new employees
  • Suggest and perform incremental improvements within team processes
  • Comfortable with Apple MacOS and Microsoft Windows support
  • Occasional travel to San Carlos, CA will be required

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 year’s experience in technology support role
  • Excellent customer service skills including in person and written communication
  • Hands on experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Foundational knowledge of computer systems and networks
  • Ability to work with and communicate with employees at all levels in the company
  • Comfortable with Apple MacOS and Microsoft Windows support

Compensation and Benefits

  • The hiring pay range for this position is $65,250.00 to $94,000.00 per year based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role; title may be assessed one level lower or higher, accordingly. Other components of total compensation include a competitive options grant at the time of hire (with potential for additional grants).
  • Benefits include medical, vision, and dental insurance, group and supplemental life insurance, 401k retirement plan, responsible (unlimited) paid time off, parental leave, and more.
