Overview of Role:

As a design engineer at DCPerform, you will be the technical lead in supporting world class sales associates to create warehouse automation solutions that compete and win business. Our industry is in a transformative phase and DCPerform is setting the standard for innovation, integrating multiple technologies into seamless operations for our customers. We a seek a team player who can translate the business needs of our customers into engineered design solutions. These designs will then be procured, delivered, and installed for warehouse operations to support the evolving needs of the marketplace and their end consumers.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Right hand subject matter expert to world class sales professionals delivering design/proposals that compete and win in the marketplace.
• Assess existing operations with future business needs and provide design solutions to meet prospective and existing requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and integration partners ensuring solution viability.
• Collaborate with sales professionals developing accurate proposals including design specifications, vendor quotes, timelines, and pricing/cash flow models.
• Engage on-site project managers to ensure contracted work is delivered consistent with design.
• Support the sales team during sales cycle with compelling messaging and proposal enhancements.
• Travel required (~50%)
