Duties and Responsibilities in this job:

• Action MRP messages and other supply chain messages as necessary.
• Place Purchase orders, with approved vendors, as per MRP messages/Min-Max signals.
• Monitor vendor delivery schedules and follow up on any overdue orders.
• Ensure that all open Purchase Orders & Intercompany Orders are accurate ensuring that expected delivery dates are accurate at all times.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure that Sourcing Rules, Min-Max Quantities, Pending Costs, List Prices, Purchase Price Quotations, Receipt Routings, Lead Times, MOQ quantities, Batch Sizes, Buyer & Planner Codes, Planning Methods, Safety Stocks are up to date for all parts on the Oracle system.
• Manage and minimise inventory whilst ensuring market supply securing optimal DIOH.
• Work with strategic sourcing to renegotiate prices/ contracts with existing suppliers or re-source with local suppliers, where possible, to ensure the best quality service and costs for Natus.
• Work with Manufacturing and Customer Services to ensure ability to meet customer demands. Re-plan and re-prioritize work in response to changing market requirements, materials availability, breakdowns, changing customer requirements, etc.
• Work through any issues with warehouse, incoming inspection, trade and compliance and finance personnel.
• Implement Engineering Change Requests to minimise obsolete stocks. Discuss with the Engineering department any rework opportunities.
• Play an active role with New Product Introductions and highlight Operations' needs during the development of new products.
• Liaise with Supply Chain and Finance in order to identify slow moving and obsolescence provision levels.
• Actively support new processes and continuous improvements projects that benefit the business
• In depth knowledge of MRP / ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Completes weekly/monthly KPI's for company monitoring purposes.
• Ensure adherence and compliance to Quality Management System

Our ideal candidate will have the following desired qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor Degree in a related field
• IIPMM or APICS certification preferred.
• Must have 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Extensive ERP applications knowledge (Oracle/EBS, would be advantageous).
• Good working knowledge of regulatory expectations and industry practices including industry standards QSR, ISO13485, and MDD.
• Mature judgment, problem solving and decision-making ability
