WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager that will lead member and sponsor community engagement and management. Support and operate existing and new events and programming. Meaningfully bringing the community together to learn, connect, and grow.

This position is ideally suited for the highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills who thrives in an entrepreneurial culture. The area of responsibility for this role is very wide and requires a willingness to accept a variety of fluctuating tasks. The goal of this role is to support and partner with the Executive Director to successfully lead this dynamic organization. As part of a small staff, this person is an essential contributor to not only the team’s excellent and impactful work, but also in shaping and modeling the supportive NB community culture.

THE ROLE

We are currently looking to hire a Community Engagement Manager. This role will proactively manage and engage individual members and sponsors through Naturally Boulder events and programming with regular communications and strategic partnerships within the community.

This is a full-time position in a hybrid model of 2x’s a week in-office located at CSU Spur in Denver and three remote days.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Responsibilities include initiating and fostering partner relations, onboarding efforts, managing a robust database, providing orientations, collaborative introductions, meaningful conversations, renewal interactions and overall support of members and sponsors within the community.
  • Marketing efforts coordination to create awareness and generate interest/attendance by members - newsletter, digital, social media, website, printed materials
  • Management of programs such as mentorship program, member meeting, member surveys
  • Implementation and execution on programming to include gathering and maintaining program and participant data to create impact reports and program refinements
  • Event management and attendance: kickoff, coordination and execution that bring the community together. Event types: in-person and virtual education events, networking events, and signature events throughout the year. Example tactics:
  • Creating and refining the operational and marketing playbooks and templates.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Professional with at least 3 years of experience
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced, small team with strong problem solving, planning, and organizational skills
  • Outstanding listening, verbal, writing, and editing abilities
  • Experience in community- and relationship-building
  • Effective at prioritizing and meeting deadlines
  • Possess a strong work ethic and be able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Show flexibility to accept a variety of multiple tasks
  • Demonstrate discretion when working with confidential information
  • Experience with the key applications is highly desirable; willingness to learn the systems you don’t already know is key: google workspace, Glueup, MailChimp, Slack, Canva, Asana, etc.
