Natural Tree Care and Recycling is Hiring an Arborist Crew Leader Near Denver, CO

We like to work with each other and for each other. This job posting is specifically for the CREW LEAD position!

Functions and Responsibilities:

· Perform tree care duties including but not limited to tree climbing, tree pruning, tree removal, cabling and bracing, stump grinding, tree planting, and crane removals.

· Lead crew in their performance of tree care as directed by owner and work order.

· Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards.

· Review scope of work and safety issues with owner before job begins.

· Train crew members on site and as necessary to ensure safe and professional environment.

· Lead job site safety briefings with crew members.

· Check equipment daily to ensure everything is working properly and maintained, inform owner of needed maintenance items.

· Lead crew in always using all necessary safety gear.

· Lead in crew administrative tasks (time keeping, navigation, etc).

· Interact with customers to ensure excellent customer service.

· Hit production, customer satisfaction, and safety goals daily.

· Lead the crew by participating in personal career development.

Physical Demands:

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform regular physical labor of moderate to high difficulty 40 - 50 hours per week.

· Must be able and willing to work in various weather conditions (summer heat, rain, snow, cold, etc.).

· Must be able and willing to safely operate company vehicles and equipment as needed (chipper truck, chipper, truck and trailer, grapple truck, stump grinder, mini-skid, etc.)

· Must be able to perform tree care while climbing.

Qualifications:

· Possess a valid driver's license, CDL is a plus.

· Must consistently demonstrate good customer service, teamwork, and leadership skills

· Must have at least 5 years of tree climbing experience and be proficient in all aspects of crew operations. Including basic saw maintenance, sawyering, chipping, rigging, climbing, felling, driving, equipment operations, and customer service.

· Be familiar with and adhere to professional industry standards and hold current ISA certified arborist certification or obtain certification within first 3 months of employment.

· Bilingual is a plus

Compensation

· Base salary $55,000 to $75,000

· Bonus pay for customer satisfaction, ISA certifications, CDL, and high production.

· Health benefits, vacation, holiday, and 401k matching after trial period.
