Natural Resources Council of Maine is Hiring a Temporary Part-Time Gift Entry Associate Near Augusta, ME

Job Summary:

The Natural Resources Council of Maine (NRCM) is dedicated to protecting Maine’s natural resources, promoting sustainable practices, and supporting Maine’s communities. We are seeking a temporary, part-time Gift Entry Associate from November 2023-January 2024. This position serves as backup/overflow assistance for the Gifts, Records, and Stewardship Coordinator during end-of-year high gift volume in December and January. The Employee will enter constituent gifts into the Raiser’s Edge constituent management database, following established protocols to ensure an extraordinary level of accuracy.

This role primarily requires working independently under the instruction and guidance of the Supervisor. The position is based in NRCM’s Augusta office. A consistent workspace, desktop computer, and phone will be available for in-office use; equipment will not be provided for remote use. The preferred schedule is 12-15 hours per week Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday afternoon, with a possibility of up to 20 hours the last two weeks in December and first week in January.

Supervisor: Gifts, Records, and Stewardship Coordinator

Status: Temporary, Part-time Employment, non-exempt

Compensation: $25 per hour

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in computer and constituent software required. Raiser’s Edge experience preferred. Comfort working at the field level of database software and with advanced features of Microsoft Office programs.
Familiarity with financial data entry procedures and data governance rules. Fundraising environment preferred, but experience in accounting, health care, or library environments may be applicable.
Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and reliability required.
Ability to work equally well independently and within a team environment.
