Native Floral is a national cut flower bouquet company, with 5 production facilities strategically located throughout the United States. We are currently searching for a District Manager to oversee our merchandising program in Western Michigan and Northern Indiana.
The District Manager will oversee our floral program in customer’s retail stores. They will direct, supervise and manage a group of merchandisers to maximize sales and profitability. The District Manager will be directly involved with training, developing relationships and motivating Merchandisers to meet the company objectives. Native is seeking someone who is innovative, outgoing, personable, detail oriented and loves working with people and flowers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Travel to customer locations and lead team in execution of merchandising goals.
· Drive high standards through consistent training.
· Interface with all levels of the company and customer’s management team.
· Track sales and help determine strategies to grow sales.
· Ensure Quality control standards are in place and maintained.
Position Requirements:
· Passion for people development, leadership, and training by example
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
· Ability to organize work, time, and self.
· Attention to detail, accuracy, and the meeting of deadlines.
· Flower and/or Sales knowledge
· Clean driving record.
Skills and Abilities:
· 3-5 years of customer service and/or management experience.
· Regular travel to stores is expected including some weekends
· Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
· Push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds
Salary Commensurate with experience.
Company vehicle provided.
