Nurse Secretary

Polaris Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is searching for experienced, caring & dependable applicants to join our TEAM as a Nursing Unit Secretary.

Available shift: Day

• Experience in this field and possess quality skills to maintain the medical record system in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
• Possess dependable, organized and quality skills to maintain the facility resident care supplies. 
• Posess supply and inventory management skills
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong clerical/office computer and communication skills.
• Able to work independently, exhibit flexibility, personal integrity, and be able to work effectively with employees, management, and co-workers.
• Demonstrate tactful interpersonal communication and problem solving skills.
• Be able to successfully pass all pre-employment background & drug tests.
• Familiar with Federal and State long term care regulations and requirements. 

Purpose of this position: The purpose of the Nursing Unit Secretary is to evaluate facility needs for medical records and resident care supplies and appointment scheduling accordingly.
