Job Summary for the Accounting/Payroll Manager position:

Nationwide Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Accounting/Payroll Manager. the Accounting/Payroll Manager is responsible for ensuring that all accounts payable functions and payroll functions are processed accurately and timely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Accounting/Payroll Manager position:

1.Processes all accounts payable and vendor billing timely and accurately, utilizing the designated system.

2.Processes all payroll functions timely and accurately through the designated payroll system.

3.Coordinates revenue management processes and ensures accuracy of accounts receivables, including timely follow-up of enrollment or disenrollment issues.

4.Assists in preparing the annual operating and capital budgets.

5.Assists in preparing monthly financial statements and statistical reports.

6.Ensures monthly, quarterly and annual reports are completed timely and accurately.

7.Oversees vendor contracting and purchasing.

8.Must be available to communicate with supervisors, customers, vendors, and any other person or organization with whom interaction is required to accomplish work and employer goals.

9.Must maintain courteous, professional and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.

10.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications for the Accounting/Payroll Manager position:

1.Four year college degree in accounting or finance-related field, preferred

2.Three to five years experience in managing business office functions in a healthcare setting.

3.Proficient in MS Office Suite of applications, including Word and Excel.Prior experience with healthcare business office management systems, including claims-based payment systems.

4.Working knowledge of financial and budgeting systems and procedures, and ability to apply knowledge to job tasks.

5.Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.

6.Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.

7.Demonstrates honesty and integrity at all times in the care and use of facility property.
