National Roofing Company is Hiring a Warehouse Associate Near Albuquerque, NM
- Support shop operations, that include the following:
- Safely and efficiently load and offload materials returning from job sites and any materials being delivered to the yard.
- Keep accurate records and maintain inventory counts for all materials in the yard and shop.
- Organize materials in the yard to maximize space and efficiency.
- Assist with general maintenance and cleaning of the shop and yard area.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of equipment and product technology.
- Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
- Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety laws, policies and rules.
- Communicate in a courteous and effective manner with customers and/or co-workers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have 1-2 years' experience working in a warehouse position.
- Knowledge of roofing materials is a plus.
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license.
- Must meet National Roofing’s requirements to drive company vehicles.
- Must be able to lift 35 - 60 pounds consistently and on a repetitive basis.
- Bilingual preferred; at a minimum, the ability to understand Spanish speaking individuals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative problem solver.
- Overtime work may be required in this position, as well as working (1) one Saturday a month
- Read and interpret instruction manual and pertinent literature.
- Positive, "can-do" attitude!
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently is required to sit; walk; use hands to fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position involves sitting, walking and occasionally lifting up to 60 pounds.Position Type / Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm.Other Duties
