• Serves as a team member and/or leads a team in conducting highly complex and technical reviews.
• Assists senior level officials in developing, reviewing, and evaluating present and proposed NRO policies, procedures, programs, and operations.
• Researches, plans, and collaborates to ensure inspection objectives are met.
• Obtains and analyzes information to assess programs' efficiency and effectiveness in meeting the unique needs of the NRO.
• Upon completion of the inspection, the inspector prepares reports detailing findings, recommendations, observations, and/or commendables.
• Interacts with all levels of NRO employees, contractors, and representatives of other government entities (e.g., Offices of Inspector General, Intelligence Community and Department of Defense mission partners).

• Excellent performance record.
• Demonstrated knowledge/expertise in oversight or analysis (at least 2 years experience in OIG Inspections, Evaluations, Audits, or similar oversight or analytical occupations/positions).
• Demonstrated superior verbal and written communication skills; including briefing skills.
• Impeccable integrity, discretion, and ability to work with very sensitive information.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, team members, and organizational officials external to the OIG; ability to deal effectively with people under a wide variety of conditions.
• Ability to travel occasionally, both domestically and overseas, in support of OIG requirements.
• Ability to plan, organize, evaluate, and conduct thorough and objective analysis of factual material and complex issues to include assessing the effectiveness, economy, and efficiency of resource utilization, management processes and procedures, and the extent to which mission objectives are being achieved.

• Bachelor Degree.
• Ability to handle numerous matters simultaneously, prioritize requirements, and perform tasks within specified timelines.
• Ability to adjust work hours and personal schedule occasionally if necessary to meet time critical demands of priority assignments.
• Ability to elicit information via interviews and focus groups.
• Advanced degrees and professional certifications.

• Overtime Statement: MAY be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
