As a Pool Repair Technician, your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Install and repair pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems.
- Manage daily schedules with repair staff to ensure efficiency.
- Complete daily records of work performed.
- Work with office staff to ensure a high degree of accuracy concerning accounting and billing.
- Improve processes and come up with innovative ideas to help us grow to the next level.
- Explain needs to customers and get approval for any repairs needed.
- Perform all duties with a safety-first mindset.
- Manage customer care issues and complaints.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a Pool Repair Technician.
- Must have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of pool chemistry and the ability to explain it to the client.
- Knowledge of pool plumbing and electrical wiring for pool/spa heaters and heat/cool pumps.
- Ability to troubleshoot repairs as needed.
- High degree of mechanical aptitude and knowledge of pool operation systems.
- Familiarity with the different manufacturers/brands of equipment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently with little oversight.
- Possess a willingness to communicate and share knowledge and insight with customers in a tactful, respectful manner while presenting a professional image.
- Dedicated to meeting deadlines, possess strong customer service skills, excellent verbal, and written communication skills, as well as effective organizational skills.
