Summary/Objective

The software developer position will build their own code and help innovate building the product. We are looking for someone who can manage the code base, help design the architecture, and implementation of the code base. *****Remote work may be considered, but the candidate must live in Nevada, California, Arizona, or Texas*****

Essential Functions

Software Developer I:

• Work in an agile/scrum environment and perform timely completion of user stories with minimal supervision
• Follows best practices for security and coding patterns
• Consistently improves accuracy of user story sizing and LOE estimates
• Learn from coding errors/mistakes after realizing their correction
• Can assist other developers in debug processes

Software Developer II:

• Fast assimilation of development workflows and chosen tech stack
• Identifies potential pitfalls, then creates and communicates complete solution plans
• Able to complete sprints and all user stories with little to no assistance
• Takes initiative to own and complete entire sections of a project and succeeds
• Is considered the SME in 1 or more development topics and used as a reference point by other team members
• Proficient 1 or more languages and frameworks
• Identifies and implements solutions for project needs discovered by the team
• Assists in the development and improvement of team processes and methods
• Able to assess LOE for user stories with minimal resizing of stories required

Software Developer III:

• Able to design, plan and implement entire projects and integrations on their own.
• Able to design, plan and implement a project strategy which includes efficient separation and delegation of tasks
• Considered an SME in 3 or more development topics and referenced as such by the team
• Proficient in 2 or more languages and frameworks
• Able to debug any code problems
• Produces resilient code with effective logging, error-handling and alerting
• Consistently and clearly documents their code

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred
• Core coding experience: 4 years (PHP, Javascript, etc.)
• MySQL: 4 years 
• JS: 4 years 
• HTML & CSS: 4 years 
• React: 2 years
• NestJS / Express: 2 years
• Functional Programming: 2 years
