We are currently hiring a Direct Care Aide (DCA) to join the Village at Orchard Ridge team. The main focus will be to provide direct, hands-on care to residents and to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental, emotional well-being.
We count on you to provide care for your residents the way you'd care for the needs of your own family.
Requirements
This position requires a Successful completion of a Personal Care Aide (PCA) training program approved by the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services OR of a Direct Care Aide (DCA) training program approved by the Virginia Department of Social Service.
You must also complete the NLCS DCA program within two (2) months of employment. This position requires the ability communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
