National Football League is Hiring a Manager, International CP (External Agency) Near New York, NY

The position’s primary focus will be the development, execution and delivery of the annual and multi-year business plans on the consumer products business through operational support, gaming/new tech growth, and oversight of the Canada CP business.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Operations:

  • Oversees royalty management system for int’l CP, including data analysis.
  • Supports on quarterly forecasts across the business.
  • Leads collating of fan insights and sales tools to share with partners.
  • Enters and routes new agreements through CMS and DocuSign.
  • Maintains master licensee list, including MG’s, contractual marketing spend, contractual tickets, etc.
  • Manages and tracks promo allowance spend
  • Manages and tracks CP marketing budget
  • Leads weekly/monthly business reporting
  • Works with Legal on trademark clearance/registration
  • Creates and maintains product portfolio deck of international-only programs
  • Assist with cross functional key initiatives – i.e. product orders, creative assets, Flag support, etc.

Gaming/New Tech:

  • Help drive int’l relationship with NFL’s largest gaming partner
  • Partner with Domestic CP on new deals
  • Communicate programs broadly across int’l group
  • Lead on obtaining int’l marketing assets
  • Participate in biz reviews with key gaming partners
  • Lead on gaming/new tech partner reporting

Canada:

  • Supports execution of key global partner initiatives – i.e. marketing campaigns, retailer events, assortment expansion
  • Partner with local marketing team on activations and execution.
  • Continuously develop and implement product and segment strategy
  • Lead and manage local relationships with global consumer product partners.
  • Manage local licensee portfolio and relationships.
  • Provide annual and multi year forecasting throughout the year.
  • Lead local CP programs with GMP Clubs.
  • Oversee new product, marketing creative approvals, and royalty reporting within approval systems.
  • Oversee local retail and partner events

SPECIAL SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Minimum 5 years licensing or consumer product experience – gaming and cross category a plus.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively internally and global partners
  • Experience in matrixed reporting within global business structure
  • Experience working with a mix of global and local product partners
  • General knowledge of NFL fan base
  • Understand trends in product and product marketing
  • Experience in social media and influencer programs
  • Strong understanding of utilizing consumer insights to build consumer product marketing tactics
  • Ability to anticipate problems and solutions, to find efficiencies
  • Ability to influence within an organization

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • FLSA Non-exempt. Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
  • This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.
