MOBILE HEAVY-DUTY DIESEL MECHANIC

This position must be capable of performing the majority of required service and repairs on a variety of trucks and equipment while operating out of a mobile vehicle. Works with the assistance of diagnostic software when performing highly technical or intricate diagnostic type repairs. Task assignments are directed by shop management to encourage skill development in a productive manner.

WHAT WINNING LOOKS LIKE:

• Performs standard vehicle maintenance from a mobile vehicle.
• Performs preventive maintenance
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable
• Completes mechanical inspections & repairs with minimal supervision
• Replaces defective components as instructed
• Works unsupervised on most tasks

SKILLS NEEDED TO WIN:

• Must have own set of tools to use with company mobile vehicle.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have a minimum of two years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment.
• Possess positive attitude and willingness to be a part of a winning team!
• Must be able to pass a drug test, background and motor vehicle check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 3 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Kinston, NC: Relocate before starting work (Required)
