Client currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage multiple complex and highly visible projects across the enterprise. This role is crucial in providing leadership and accountability for the execution of several concurrent projects that are vital for business operations and IT support.

Job Summary: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for driving project delivery excellence across the enterprise by establishing and improving business processes, methods, tools, and metrics. This role involves significant cross-functional collaboration and a strong focus on achieving tangible business outcomes.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of large and complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and with defined value.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business partners across the organization to facilitate excellence in project execution.
• Implement organizational change leadership into project management methodologies.
• Provide thought leadership on Project and Portfolio management processes.
• Oversee financial management of projects including forecasting, accruals, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure effective communication within the project team and across stakeholder groups.
• Support portfolio management to ensure clear direction and effective prioritization and execution of projects.
• Define and deploy world-class project management practices and tools for project prioritization, planning, and execution.
• Develop KPIs/metrics, standard SLAs, Project Management Service Catalog, and reporting mechanisms.
• Coach and mentor Project Managers to improve and achieve project results.
• Engage on projects regularly as an advisor and guide.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in a related position.
• Extensive experience managing highly complex projects and programs across multiple industries.
• Proven leadership skills, including leading projects, programs, and teams.
• Strong ability to interact effectively with executives and senior leaders.
• Excellent financial acumen and experience developing financial models.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to clarify ambiguous information into actionable steps.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in an appropriate discipline.
• Professional certification (e.g., PMI, BRMI).
• Experience in portfolio management.
• Strategic vendor management skills.
• Experience in the utility industry or consulting.
