National Cable Craft is a small business in Vestal, NY.

We're looking for an organized Office Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities may include, but not limited to, scanning, coping, organizing and maintaining filing systems, bookkeeping and report preparation, and handling other misc. office tasks. We are interested in hiring team-oriented individual who are willing to work hard and is dedicated to becoming a part of our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Getting crews out in the morning, filling out daily worksheets and emails
  • Perform routine office tasks (e.g. opening emails, printing attachments, mail, organizing files, creating spreadsheets, printing documents, etc.).
  • Operate equipment (e.g. scanner, fax machines,printers and phone/internet systems).
  • Maintaining records of financial transactions using Quickbooks, need to have experience and proficiency with desktop.
  • Monthly reconciling bank and credit card accounts
  • Daily/monthly invoicing, A/P, A/R
  • Answer customer service calls
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local legal requirements for sales tax, HUT, IFTA and Oscar; advising management on needed actions.
  • Knowledge of ADP payroll software for weekly payroll
  • Confidentiality
  • Strong ability to learn and implement existing operational procedures and company expectations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

  • Vestal, NY 13850: Relocate before starting work (Required)
