Nashville Shores Lakeside Resort is a 385-acre family recreation destination located on Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, TN, just past the airport off I-40 (Exit 221B). It is comprised of a first-class water park, Treetop Adventure Park (ropes courses and zip lines), RV campground, lake view cabins, a 310-slip marina, boat and Jet-Ski rental business and other attractions.

Primary Responsibility:

This position is responsible for assisting full-time Account Executives, overseeing the successful completion of group events and special events within the park, managing a high volume of incoming phone calls, taking small group orders, and providing quality guest service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the set up and execution of company outings and events, including facilitating games, viewing menu accuracy, and ensuring overall success of events.
Oversee birthday activities including preparing birthday area, greeting birthday guests, and facilitating food and beverage service.
Communicate with birthday host families before, during, and after the event.
Assist Guest Relations staff with ticket “pick-ups” and answer group sales related questions.
Ensure proper set up and cleanliness of special event areas.
Handle inbound phone calls, answering questions about the group sales rates and overall property information.
Responsible for group ticket orders, credit card processing, ticket details, etc.
Create signage for company outings, birthdays, and special events.
Maintain database of event details, menus, and extras.
Assist Account Executives and Director of Sales with other assigned tasks.
Ability to be flexible to play a number of roles depending on the needs of the special event.

Skills and Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Positive upbeat attitude.
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.
Must demonstrate outgoing personality and professional appearance.
Strong working knowledge of Windows with main attention to Word and Excel.
Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Seasonal full time or part time available. Weekends required.
Must be willing to work outside.
Ability to lift and carry 20 to 25 pounds.
Candidates pursuing Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or Sales degrees preferred but not mandatory.

Pay Rate:

This position is a paid seasonal position at $12/hr

Begin Date:

Immediately/depending on availability of chosen candidate.
