NASHVILLE SHORES is Hiring an Events Coordinator Near Hermitage, TN
This position is responsible for assisting full time Account Executives, overseeing the successful completion of group events and special events within the park, and providing quality guest service.
- Responsible for the set up and execution of company outings and events, including facilitating games, viewing menu accuracy, and ensuring overall success of events.
- Oversee birthday activities including preparing birthday area, greeting birthday guests, and facilitating food and beverage service.
- Communicate with birthday host families before, during, and after event.
- Ensure proper set up and cleanliness of special event areas.
- Create signage for company outings, birthdays, and special events.
- Assist Guest Relations staff with ticket “pick-ups” and deliver excellent guest service.
- Assist Account Executives and Director of Sales with other assigned tasks.
- Ability to be flexible to play a number of roles depending on the needs of the special event.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Positive upbeat attitude.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Must demonstrate outgoing personality and professional appearance.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows with main attention to Word and Excel.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Seasonal full time or part time available. Weekends required.
- Must be willing to work outside.
- Ability to lift and carry 20 to 25 pounds.
- Candidates pursuing Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or Sales degrees preferred but not mandatory.
This position is a paid seasonal position at $11 - $13 per hour.
Begin Date: Immediately/or depending on availability of chosen candidate.
