Highly desirable position for a full-time Medical Assistant in a concierge cardiology and internal medicine practice in Naples, FL to help deliver excellent care in a small, calm medical environment. Applicants must exhibit a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a medical office or hospital setting, cardiac experience is preferred. Proficiency in the use of an EMR is required, while Athena experience is a plus.
Main responsibilities will include rooming patients, accurately performing vital signs, EKGs, medication reconciliation and phlebotomy. May also include injections, finger sticks, nasal swabs and wound care. Accurate and timely chart prep and obtaining medical records is required.
Administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, scanning documents are part of this rewarding position. Confidential communication with patients in person, by phone or email in a friendly, courteous and sympathetic manner is a must.
Applicants should have strong organizational and planning skills with excellent time management and the ability to multitask, problem solve and prioritize work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
