Perform Daily,Weekly and Monthly Duties
Full time dental assistant needed for a busy solo practice in Williamsburg. The desired person must possess the required documentation: X-Ray certification, immunizations, CPR, OSHA/HIPAA training, dental assisting certificated or previous dental assisting experience. Willing to train the right person if just finishing dental assisting certification course . Looking for someone who is professional, compassionate and has excellent communication skills. Must be able to perform the following:
- 4 Handed Dental Assisting Skills
- Seat/Exit Patient
- Have Dental Terminology/Instrument Knowledge
- Proper Operatory Set Up/Break Down
- Proper Sterilization Techniques (Dr & Hyg)
- Team Player
- Task Oriented
- Self Starter
- Willingness To Help Front Desk if needed
- Ability To Review Charts/Schedule For Accuracy
- Work with Hygienist/polish, floss, take FMX/BWX
- Schedule Appointments
- Triage Emergency Pt's
- Inventory - Monitor/Order
- Open/Close Clinical Areas
- Restocking/Cleaning Operatory

- Normal hours: Monday - Thursday 7:45 am - 5:15 pm/Friday 7:45 am - 1:30 pm
Salary: Will be determined by experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
