NANA Regional Corporation is Hiring a Senior Project Manager Near Anchorage, AK

Summary

In alignment with the Annual Business Plan, directs the activities of Company projects thru delegation; ensuring quality, competitiveness and client satisfaction. Manages the departments of Project Engineering, Project Controls and Procurement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Collaboration and partnership with all other senior management staff.
  • Oversight of Company Quality and Safety Programs.
  • Development, Implementation and communication of Annual Business Plan including development, implementation and annual review of company strategic plan.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies, procedures and practices.
  • Responsible for legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Build and fosters parent and sister company relationships.
  • Appointment of Management Team membership
  • Prioritization and conflict resolution when elevated from Management Team.
  • Promotion of NANA Worley with clients.(new client development, client reporting, client satisfaction and liason).
  • Creation of business development opportunities.
  • Ensures change control processes are met thru delegation.
  • Communicate the Co's business strategy and success to staff.
  • Emulate NANA Worleys' core values and mission statements to all staff.
  • Leadership and mentorship thru advising, guiding and developing subordinate staff.
  • Responsible for Company and staff performance to ensure that Company objectives are met.
  • Promote and uphold ethical business practices.
  • Responsible for overall organization and management of the Company through delegation to the Management Team consisting of Department Heads and/or Project Managers.
  • Provides Final Approval on:
    • Employment actions (i.e., hire ensuring diversity and EEO), terminations, transfer, compensation, promotion, awards, performance monitoring, development of staff, disciplinary actions)
    • Manpower resource allocation
    • Financial commitments
    • Contractual obligations
    • Participation in Proposals
  • Carries the responsibility, thru delegation, to accurately forecast and track all current and future project involvement, meeting the deliverables of timeframe and funding.
  • In consult with Engineer & Alliances Sr. Management; approver of Confirmation of Project Award (COPA).
  • Owner of Quality documents including each Project Engineering Plan, Project Management (PM200), Procurement Procedures (PP500)
  • Manages and directs the Project Services organization toward its primary technological objectives, based on long-term product and profitability goals ensuring that scheduling, forecasting, estimating, planning and material purchasing systems are most advantageous to meet Company goals and integrated for most effective use w/in the Company.
  • Integrates client systems for maximum productivity and effectiveness.
  • Oversight for ensuring procurement delivers construction material support ordering in a manner ensuring quality, timeliness, cost effectiveness and value.
  • Communicates to Company Officers the Company's success in meeting business objectives via the regular reporting of project activity.
  • Serves as Company liason with government regulatory agencies in support of projects.
  • Ensures all staff complies with Company quality policies and procedures as they relate to the Project Services Quality documents or client requirements.
  • Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success also may be assigned.
  • This position has supervisory responsibilities. 

Education/Experience:

B.S. degree in Business Administration or Engineering from an accredited university; minimum of five years' oil & gas related experience and/or training. Supervisory experience required.

  • Minimum ten (10) years directly related project management experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management and client.

Mathematical Skills:

Comprehend and apply principles of calculus, modern algebra and statistical theory. Ability to work with concepts such as limits, rings, quadratic and differential equations and proofs and theorems. Ability to apply mathematical operations to work projects.

Reasoning Ability:

Apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with non-verbal symbols (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in the most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises employees in the Project Engineering Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
