The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) has a full-time opportunity for a Digital Media Manager at our Indianapolis, IN location. This position supports Public Affairs through strategic communication via digital channels, including social media presence, paid campaigns, and visual storytelling creative.
Responsibilities for this position include, but aren’t limited to:
Maintains digital communications strategy, including managing social and digital media campaigns in support of public affairs goals. Determines correct targeting of key association audiences by platform.
Generates organic social media content and timeline for digital channels, including X, Facebook, and LinkedIn, etc.
Manages content promotion and paid ad campaigns on social platforms.
Produces infographics and other visual content to promote NAMIC advocacy efforts via multiple communication channels.
Maintains metrics-based regular reporting of digital campaign results to association leadership.
Drafts content for association publications, convention materials, member communications, policy/issue papers, and more.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related discipline.
3 years of experience in digital communications or related field.
Knowledge of and experience in communicating via social media platforms including X, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Demonstrated leadership of social media and paid digital campaign strategy, as well as graphic design.
Firm grasp of metrics-based reporting of digital campaign results.
Experience working with media at the local, regional, trade and national levels.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Insurance knowledge a plus, but not required.
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background and MVR check.
