Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service.

Duties:

- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily retail operations
- Manage and motivate staff to meet sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Train new employees on company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure store cleanliness and organization
- Assist in creating attractive product displays
- Process transactions on the cash register when needed

Skills:

- Strong market knowledge to drive sales and promotions effectively
- Experience in store management or related field
- Proficiency in basic math for inventory management and pricing
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a well-run store environment
- Ability to recruit, train, and manage a team of retail associates
- Familiarity with cash register operations and handling financial transactions
- Customer service-oriented mindset to enhance the shopping experience

- 4-5 year’s experience in retail background preferred

- Strong communication skills with team and supervisors via email correspondence, reports and in person

- Ability to attend and participate in meetings when required

- Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings

-Ability to work Overtime during event and or holiday weeks, based upon the needs of the store

- Ability to travel as required

- Ability to transport company bank deposits

- Strong ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, flexible with change, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure

- Ability to lift and move 35 pounds on a regular basis

- Ability to climb ladder and or stairs

- Ability to process customers orders and store deliveries as needed

- Ability to retrieve merchandise from stockroom or sales floor; bending and reaching
