The ideal candidate for our dental assisting position would be a mature energetic, self starter with motivation to work and help others. The ability to be detail oriented is key to being successful with us. We require X-ray and dental assisting certification. Clinical experience is preferred.

Hourly wages are competitive and negotiable based on job experience and field knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assisting during dental procedures, ensuring the dentist has the necessary tools and equipment.
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to assist in patient care and treatment.
- Maintain aseptic technique and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Assist with X-rays and other medical imaging procedures as needed.
- Greet and assist patients at the dental reception area, providing excellent customer service.
- Take vital signs and assist with patient assessments as directed by the dentist.
- Document medical information accurately and efficiently, including medical records and coding.
- Possess certification as a Dental Assistant and maintain up-to-date knowledge in dental assisting practices.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with radiation health and safety regulations in the dental office.
- Utilize computer skills for various tasks related to patient care and office management.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay current on advancements in dental technology and procedures to enhance patient care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week
