We are looking for a Controller with HOTEL ACOUNTING EXPERIENCE to manage accounting policies and oversee the financial process at the fabulous Hilton Los Angeles North/Glendale. As a Controller, you’ll monitor the Hilton Glendale's financial status, review monthly, quarterly and annual budgets and manage accounting transactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all payments are completed on time (including accounts payable and bank deposits)
• Review monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for all departments
• Analyze costs and profits
• Report on financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when needed
• Maintain accurate revenue and audit reports.
• Perform internal audits and assist with external audits
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations

Skills

• Previous Experience as a hotel Finance Manager is REQURED.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and legislation
• Hands-on experience with general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Ability to manage and develop the finance team
• Experience with cash management and risk assessment
• Good knowledge of accounting software such as: BirchStreet, Great Plains, ONQ, ADP (WFN), and strong Excel skills.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work with tight deadlines
• BSc or MSc in Accounting or Finance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
