Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a CyberSecurity Engineer III to provide security testing, security controls, and general cybersecurity support for the execution of a large size, multi-year contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP). Nakupuna Consulting is extending contingent offers for this effort in anticipation of contract award, which is expected in May of 2024. The CyberSecurity Engineer will be responsible for the integrity of the environment architecture, to include reviewing designs, scanning for vulnerabilities, and drafting and implementing security controls. The Engineer will write weekly and monthly status reports regarding security efforts to be sent to upper-level management as well as the Army client. Collaboration will be an integral part of this role, and the level III engineer should expect to communicate frequently and openly with other CyberSecurity professionals and the numerous Agile Teams across the AMP program.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC and/or private sector preferred.
Skills/Qualifications: Certifications in SAFe DevOps and IAT Level II preferred.
Clearance Requirements: This position requires a current Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Work Location: Work location will be in the D.C., Maryland, Virginia region.
