Our Technology team is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator with a friendly personality, positive attitude, and impressive work ethic. Along with strong, current technical skills, we’re looking for someone who’s self-motivated and happy working both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate would be comfortable starting each day checking our systems: reviewing our IT ticket queue, resolving infrastructure alerts, and maintaining backup sets. They would also be excited about contributing to our ongoing projects, such as building and maintaining servers and tending to IT support tickets for our team members.

Interviews for this opening will be conducted over the phone and via video calls. This opportunity is remote, though intermittent visits to our Dallas, Texas printing facility will required. The starting salary for this position is $50,000.

In a Typical Day, You Would:

• Assist with the technical design, planning, implementation, performance tuning, and backup and recovery procedures for mission-critical enterprise systems.
• Manage data center and network architecture information.
• Conduct system administration for Windows operating systems.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth technical operations.
• Perform other work as needed, including task-oriented projects and helpdesk support.

To Land This Gig, You Need To:

• Demonstrate some working knowledge of and / or gain experience in:
  • VMware (ESXi and Horizon).
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Windows Server 2016.
  • LAN / WAN, TCP / IP, Cisco IOS.
  • Dell server / hardware administration.
  • Linux OS maintenance and deployment.

• Be confident making decisions based on your knowledge and training.
• Maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Exhibit all-star communication skills.
• Be a quick learner with a desire to grow.
• Be resourceful and adaptable in an environment of change.
• Truly enjoy helping others.
• Have a “We, Not Me” team mentality.

It’s Not Required, But We’d Love It If You Also Have:

• CompTIA certification (A , Network , Server , Security , etc.).
• Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP, etc).
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience with DevOps and / or Ansible.
• Scripting and automation experience.
